MODIFICA ALLA BASSA FREQUENZA DEL FT1000: PROBLEMA E SOLUZIONE

Il problema: in alcuni FT1000 il rumore di fondo che si sente in cuffia anche regolando a zero il potenziometro del volume rimane molto alto ed è fastidioso. Questo rumore si sente anche in altoparlante. Non è presente invece nella presa ausiliaria AF-OUT posta sul retro. E’ un rumore che è un misto tra 50 Hz e altre frequenze basse. La causa è la elevatissima amplificazione del circuito SHP che “tira dentro” disturbi dal lungo cavo che collega questa scheda alla AF UNIT.

La modifica che propongo, semplicissima, riduce il rumore a un livello più che accettabile, senza deperimento in alcuna altra prestazione.

LA MODIFICA

Aprire entrambi i coperchi del FT1000 e nella faccia inferiore individuare la scheda SHP, è una piccola scheda montata a fianco della scheda RF UNIT.

Qui sostituire i due condensatori da C9611 e C9612 da 220uF-25V con altri da 4,7uF 25V.

The problem: in certain FT1000 the hum, noise 50 Hz, 60 Hz or so, that we can hear in both speaker or headset, is high also with volume potentiometer fully CCW, and it is very noisy.

The cause is the very high amplification level of the SHP unit.

Solution: very simple solution, is to substitute both the capacitors C9611 and C9612 in the SHP unit; they are 200uF-25Vl, remove this and replace with 4,7 uF – 25Vl capacitors.

This change don’t eliminate the noise at all, but reduce the noise at lower and not noisy level.
